You grabbed her hand and pulled her back
“this way is not for you”
she had not glimpsed the edge upcoming
but the danger You well knew
she’d walked along so blindly
dancing, spinning, drunk with pride
with eyes that did not see
how dark and evil was her guide
but with one word You felled him
threw him off the cliff's hard edge
and how his screams they echoed
as You led her from the ledge
and with one mighty ripping
came the shackles from her eyes
and rang the mighty chorus
full of angels, were the skies
another one for glory
yet one more for heaven’s halls
another enemy unblinded
brought inside our castle walls
You brought her by the hand
and slowly changed her every cell
it was the journey of a lifetime
walking home from that dark hell
